Well, Mark and Mariah McHugh, as well as myself(Christian Mchugh) and my girlfriend Angela Torgerson hit the last league night with hopes of hooking into one. We did damn good for only fishing this lake once this year. We had a few follows on gliderss and a few others on bucktails, but we had more hits and lost fish than total follows......not a bad thing if you ask me. It was Angelas first time on Indy and she lost one way out, missed the hookset on one about 5 feet from the boat, and missed one AT the boat after jumping up and down because she saw one.(she set the lure back in the water and it hit). It was pretty cool to see her getting action because shes toughed it out with me many times before and couldn't come away with anything. HOw did everyone else fare?

I didn't get to make it but it sounds like you had a decent night of fishing though. I'm heading out this weekend and its good to hear that the fish are moving right now. Moving into a new house tonight betwee Bald Eagle and White Bear Lake so I'll mainly be fishing those lakes. I have been out on WBL twice and Bald Eagle once for Muskies. Seen fish evertytime. Anyone have any suggestions or recent success on these lakes? Has there been a night bite on WBL at all? Any help or tips on either of these two lakes is greatly appreciated. I strictly fish Forest Lake, Bald Eagle Similar to this? Thanks!

Sorry about the delayed response.  My dad and I were out there for league night last week and managed to raise one very nice fish (46-48 inch range) that turned once one the figure 8 but didn't eat.  Also managed one 31" pike.  Sounds like youwere able to get a bit of a pattern going, nice work!  As far as the Bald Eagle/WBL question.  I have fished those lakes a lot over the years, but not as much this year.  Once one each so far.  I would say Bald Eagle is more similar to Indy than Forest.  Structure in Bald Eagle is move obvious than in Forest in general, if that makes any sense.
