Lake Vermillion Fishing/Camping Outing

When: August 6, 7, 8…..FULL MOON on the 6^th!!!!!

Where: Hoodoo Point Campground (Tower – East side of Lake)

Reservations: 218-753-6868

Dave Parks and myself will be in site #15?, Chris Cochran is in site #14? Who else is going and what site will you be in. Stop by and say Hi and see what's going on and off the water. We will attempt to have a campfire each night. However, it may be late as we may be attempting to see if the night bite has begun! Hope to see you there!

My father (Mark Mchugh) and myself (Christian McHugh) will be in site 9. we've heard theres some big fishing tourny up there

while we are up there thats 75 bucks, but we can't find any info on it. just that campgrounds are overbooking and such.

hopefully we are all able to boat a few fish anyway.

There is a tournament on 8/8 from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. First prize is $2,000. Not sure how many boats are fishing it? I checked for tournaments back in February when I was setting this trip up but couldn't find anything at that time. Oh well, the lake is getting lots of pressure anyway. I was up two weeks ago and it was pretty packed then without a tournament going on. Hopefully, they will pre-fish the same hours of the tournament. In my dreams. Anyway, I'm sure we can still get on some fish and have a good time.
