Was out early Saturday morning at 2:30 and had some good action. Had some real big blow ups on topwaters and ended up boating 3 on topwaters measuring 32,35, and 35. One was on a Click-Fin and the other two on Large Pacemakers. Had around 7 blow ups with no fish on the other end. All the action was between 3-4:30. Didn't have any other hits until the sun came up when I boated a 42 inch on a figure 8 with a #10 bladed bucktail hair. All fish were caught in the 2-5 foot range in thick weeds. I'm heading out this weekend a bunch too. None of my friends will go out Muskie fishing anymore so if anyone wants to go out on Forest Lake Early Saturday or Sunday let me know! |
