Was out on Bald Eagle this afternoon in the downpour. Nothing seen during the rain but as soon as it stopped we seen a few follows and then I proceeded to lose my seventh fish in a row. This one was on a firetiger bobbie bait. I noticed during the fight that he was hooked really good and I was finally going to end the streak going the past few weeks. So after the battle was over and he was letting me bring him towards the net he gave a little head shake and the rear hooks of the bait that were so nicely hooked in the corner of the mouth decided to snap. Then the rain started to really come down around 630 and we called it a night as we were pretty upset. All fish seen were on a weighted bobbie bait and reef hawg. F-M-L |
