Went out from 3-5 today for a quick fish with the gal and dog. Lost a 48-50inch muskie on an orange manta. Hit in 5 feet of water a couple feet from the boat. I saw when it hit that it almost missed the bait and was barely hooked. It took two runs and on the second one it shook free. A real heart breaker tonight. That makes I think 5 consecutive fish lost for this guy. Going to be crabby and pissed of the rest of the night now. It hit the manta when I was just burning it as fast as I could jerk and reel in the slack. |
