Fished WBL again yesterday from 1pm-6:30pm. Had a 42-44 inch fish follow and have a go in the figure eight on a Bobbie Bait in the sucker color. Fish came from 8 feet with weeds. I was figure 8ing for a good 5 minutes on that one. Everytime I wanted to pull out because I hadn't seen the fish in awhile it came flying in. Never comitted though. Give it at least a couple minutes with no fish sightings before you give up. Didn't work this time but it has gave me a few extra fish in the past. After that fish we didn't see anything for awhile. Lake turned over a week ago but we did have another low forty inch fish go in a figure eight arond 5ish. Couldn't get them to commit. Tried everything in the figure eight from burning fast on the corners to jerking the bait around in a figure 8. The first fish responded good to the jerks and the second one to speed arund the turn. Making lures tonight and preparing for the meeting tomorrow. Hope to see you all there! |
